Michael Howarth

BioMichael actually began training at GFC in 1996, but his early career had been dogged by injury, he has proven to have a very high understanding of the technical aspect of Thai Boxing and eventually overcame his early injury problems to put together a short, but respectable fight career taking on some of UK Muay Thai's promising talent.

You will often see Michael working ringside at some of the top Muay Thai shows around the UK and occasionally Europe, since he's one of the top Muay Thai fight photographers in the country, he has had the pleasure of shooting some of the biggest names in the business in action. It is worth mentioning that Michael has successfully completed the entire grading syllabus (originally devised by Master Sken when he first brought Muay Thai to the UK) and is a Red Armband (the highest grade achievable), he teaches the very popular adult muay thai basics class every Sunday at 2pm and is usually available to take private lesson bookings before and after the class.
